Are you secured from the crunch ? if not may i encourage you to stay cover under secure protection of the Almighty God.
Let me paint a picture in your mind you heard the weather news, and it was reported that there is an impending adverse weather condition like hurricane or earthquake, the natural thing for most people is to respond in fear and panic.
However if you were told that there is a building designed and built to withstand such condition. Most people will clearly take full advantage of the opportunity to stay safe and secure.
Watch this !
HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. {Ps. 91:1}{Amp}
The word foe means a destroying factor, this could in your case be Health, economic, social, emotional , or relationship. Whatever it maybe your outcome will be determined by your location.
Our text revealed that to remain stable and fixed you have to dwell in the secret place and under the shadow of the Almighty.
WHAT IS IT TO DWELL IN THE SECRET PLACE
v.2b gave us an indication "........ on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!"
When we dwell in the secret place our conversation and demeanour also changes from fear or desperation to hope and fulfillment. v.2a "I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress ......"
When you stay under cover you are guaranteed to be secured from the predicament that befalls everyone v.7 & 8a "A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. ... Only a spectator shall you be ....."
Even when you fall victim of the impending disaster God's promise of help and deliverance is at hand.
v.10 & 11 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].
And finally, you have an assurance for answered prayer v.15. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.
